Coding & Digital Creation at Casis
Code Kids is a project-based after school program at Casis Elementary for students in grades 2 through 5. Students learn to bring their ideas to life through coding, animation, video creation, digital design, and 3D printing. Through hands-on projects, students do not just use technology, they create with it.
Students can enroll in one or both programs for the 2026-2027 school year.
CODING & DESIGN CLUB
Design Games – Build Code – Bring Ideas to Life
In Coding & Design Club, students learn to design games, create digital artwork, and develop coding skills through hands-on projects.
Students will:
– Design and code their own video games to share
– Create original characters and sprites
– Learn core programming concepts
– Explore both 2D and 3D digital design
– Bring their ideas to life through 3D printing
This club blends creativity with problem-solving as students become confident designers, creators, and coders.
CREATOR LAB – FILM CLUB
Animate – Film – Bring Stories to Life
In Creator Lab, students explore animation and video production as they design, film, edit, and share original stories.
Students will:
– Create stop-motion animations using clay, LEGO, paper cutouts, and other hands-on materials
– Film and edit their own videos
– Use digital tools to add music, sound effects, and transitions
– Explore both 2D and 3D design within their projects
– Produce a final video or animation to share
This club introduces students to animation, filmmaking, and digital storytelling through creative, hands-on projects.
2026-2027 School Year
After-school clubs are offered three days a week. Clubs meet in Room A245 (3rd Grade Wing). Students come directly to class after school, enjoy a quick snack, and then begin the day’s activities.

Mondays: Open to 2nd–5th Grade
Coding & Design Club
Wednesdays & Thursdays: Open to 2nd–5th Grade
There will be four sessions offered throughout the school year at Casis. Students may register for one session or continue throughout the year. Each new session introduces exciting projects while building on skills learned in previous sessions.
Session I:
Mondays – 7 Sessions: 8/31, 9/14, 9/28, 10/5, 10/19, 10/26, 11/9
Wednesdays – 8 Sessions: 9/2, 9/9, 9/16, 9/23, 9/30, 10/7, 10/14, 10/21
Thursdays – 8 Sessions: 9/3, 9/10, 9/17, 9/24, 10/1, 10/8, 10/15, 10/22
All classes are taught by Mrs. Wooliver, a 3rd grade teacher at Casis.

What to Bring
– Chromebook from their classroom (provided for 2nd Graders)

Dismissal
Students will be walked to the front of the school at 4:20pm. Walkers, bikers, and Extend-A-Care will be dismissed immediately. Car riders can be picked up in the front circle drive in front of the office.
