Coding & Digital Creation at Casis

Code Kids is a project based after school program at Casis Elementary for students in grades 2 through 5. Students learn to bring their ideas to life through coding, animation, video creation, digital design, and 3D printing. Through hands on projects, students do not just use technology, they create with it.

Students can enroll in one or both programs for the 2026-2027 school year:

CODING & DESIGN CLUB 

Design Games – Build Code – Bring Ideas to Life

In Coding & Design Club, students focus on building games, designing characters, and developing coding skills.

Students will:
– Design and code their own video games to share
– Create original characters and sprites
– Learn core programming concepts
– Explore both 2D and 3D digital design
– Bring their ideas to life through 3D printing

This club blends creativity with problem-solving as students become confident designers and coders.

CREATOR LAB

Animate – Film – Bring Stories to Life

In Creator Lab, students explore animation and video creation to design and produce original stories through hands-on projects.

Students will:
– Create stop motion animation using hands-on materials
– Film and edit their own videos
– Use digital tools to add music, sound effects, and transitions
– Explore both 2D and 3D design within their projects
– Produce a final video or animation to share

In this club, students learn to create animations and videos using stop motion, filming, and digital editing tools.
